Jakarta

I know some of you might be wondering whether I'm here for work or holiday after reading this. But I dont really care.... I'm here for both! haahahahaha

Some of the things I've been doing ever since I arrive on Mon nite...

Yesterday for lunch, we had supernice Shanghai food in the famous 'Din Tai Fong' for lunch. They are Taiwan's best dumpling restaurant specialises in 'Xiao Long Bao'. Was quite surprised they have a branch here... I tried it once when I was seconded to work in Taipei, Yee Ming was nice enough to bring me there for dinner.

On the same day, after work we went for local Indonesia massage in the famous non-dodgy massage parlour, 'Bersih Sehat'. Its a very famous massage parlour in Indonesia. It has several branches throughout the country. Its one of those that wont offer you 'extra' services.. haahahaha. The massage session was great. But the massage room is too communal. Imagine you're separated from other guests with just a piece of cloth. Feels like you're lying down on a the hospital emergency bed. You can hear ppl walking in & out and also sometimes ppl talking throughout the session. I also found out the owner of Bersih Sehat was one of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 Finalist!!! Thats how successful the business is.

Tried the most famous drink in Indonesia - Teh botol. I didnt even know this drink exists until Dav asked me check it out. Bought a packet to try and let me tell you, it taste funny for tea. Dunno how to explain but its definitely not my fav. Been requested to bring home some. Anyone else wanna try? Let me know....

Things yet to try --> Bintang Beer!

:P
