Home sweet home

back home for the wkend... finally get to sleep on my nice bed... hug my furry friends who bunks with me and also see the loved ones.

There has been a revamp on this site if you hv not noticed... Dav changed the pics on top of the blog.. didnt even know he was embarking on this changes... it looks good actually.. nice pic. The pic was taken some time ago when we used to drive aimlessly ard town.. those were good old days. And of course I look fatter now...

Dav has taken another self discovery journey to Kuantan. Maybe self discovery is not the right word to use as he didnt go alone. He went with one of his buddy.. maybe its more like a brotherhood bonding journey... They left this morning and only back tmrw nite.

As for me, I'm enjoying my time at home before I head on to my next destination on Monday. This time its HK for 3 days and then straight to Bangkok for 4 days... wont say that its for work cos will be attending meetings and workshop.. not much work involved except I have to give a presentation on our electronic audit working paper software...

Ok... more admin work to do at home... got to finish them before I leave...

Obsession

Worried my hand will become like this one day....

So I went and bought L'OCCITANE Softening Hand Scrub. Been abit worried that my hand is going to age badly!!! so better slow the process by applying more cream... esp when my hand is very prone to dryness.

Reverse Bungee Jump at KL Tower

It was quite a nice experience, to be dangling upside down 30-40metres up on the air. It is less scarier compared to the roller coaster in Berjaya Times Square. I'd still recommend everyone to try it at least once.

ps: Seems that everytime I write a comment after the photos it will all be aligned to the left of the first pic, what am I missing here? Anyone knows whats the solution? I don't want to get into the html code and edit everytime..

    Jakarta

I know some of you might be wondering whether I'm here for work or holiday after reading this. But I dont really care.... I'm here for both! haahahahaha

Some of the things I've been doing ever since I arrive on Mon nite...

Yesterday for lunch, we had supernice Shanghai food in the famous 'Din Tai Fong' for lunch. They are Taiwan's best dumpling restaurant specialises in 'Xiao Long Bao'. Was quite surprised they have a branch here... I tried it once when I was seconded to work in Taipei, Yee Ming was nice enough to bring me there for dinner.

On the same day, after work we went for local Indonesia massage in the famous non-dodgy massage parlour, 'Bersih Sehat'. Its a very famous massage parlour in Indonesia. It has several branches throughout the country. Its one of those that wont offer you 'extra' services.. haahahaha. The massage session was great. But the massage room is too communal. Imagine you're separated from other guests with just a piece of cloth. Feels like you're lying down on a the hospital emergency bed. You can hear ppl walking in & out and also sometimes ppl talking throughout the session. I also found out the owner of Bersih Sehat was one of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 Finalist!!! Thats how successful the business is.

Tried the most famous drink in Indonesia - Teh botol. I didnt even know this drink exists until Dav asked me check it out. Bought a packet to try and let me tell you, it taste funny for tea. Dunno how to explain but its definitely not my fav. Been requested to bring home some. Anyone else wanna try? Let me know....

Things yet to try --> Bintang Beer!
