Ozzie Adventure Part 1 - In Sydney!

Good news is we make it to Sydney.. bad news is, it's gonna rain the whole time we're here!!! But that's ok.. it doesnt deter us from doing the things we wanna do.

Was suppose to hit the city first thing this morning.. but since i am not a morning person, I only woke up at 11 (it was raining and damn nice to sleep in). Then we missed the bus, which was suppose to take us to the city by 1.30. Had to walked to the nearest shopping centre, call a cab to take us to the nearest train station and catch a ride to Grand Central. Only arrived in city at around 2pm.

As we wanted to make our Bridge Climb booking and The Rocks Ghost Tour booking, so we head to Circular Quay. Had fish & chips at The Rocks... and then walked from Circular Quay back to city centre (George Street) to meet Chia Ying's uncle and cousin for dinner at Cockle Bay's Wharf for dinner.

Did alot of walking after soooo long.. hehehe now abit tired. Got to hv my beauty sleep now for tmrw's wedding reception!

Million ringgit fairy-tale wedding?!?!

A guy who had a sex change operation to become a woman married another guy in Kuching!! I didnt even know its legal to undergo a sex change operation in M'sia to begin with.... On top of that, the 'husband' have to proposed to her 6 times!!

The funniest is when my elder sis and brother-in-law pointed out that the bride has an 'ADAM's APPLE' in the wedding picture!!!! Check it out urself.

Heard of 'Gila Monsters' Lizard ???

This is so funny... while searching for the instructions on using my new MonsterPet, Kuda, I stumble upon this piece of information. There is a species of lizards called 'Gila Monsters'. Damn funny right... hahahahaha

A little bit abt this creature:

Gila Monsters belong to one of the two venomous lizard species of the world. The other poisonous lizard is the Mexican Beaded lizard. The Gila Monster is unique among other reptiles. It is large, heavy-bodied, possessing a massive head, and small eyes. One of the characteristic signs of the lizard's appearance is its short, swollen tail. The body is a spotted pattern of black, pink, orange, or yellow scales.

Wonder if these lizards are really 'gila'. Hahahahahahahahha!

New Toy!

Got a new toy from Dav to add to my already huge toy family! hehehe. Its called Kuda, the Bush Monster.

Manufactured by Tomy, it is a pocket-size MicroPets that "listen" and respond to your voice commands. Kuda will run, walk, zig-zag and turn around. With more than 18 commands and functions, this miniature monster will amaze you. His ears really move up and down and his eyes light up. Requires 2 "button-cell" batteries.

Although it was a gift, it didnt come with the instructions. Thus I am seeking high and low for the instruction on how to activate the so called 18 commands and functions. So far could only get it to run and dance.. will appreciate if anyone out there knows how to 'play' with this monster.

Check out this site for other MicroPets - http://tinkerville.cutthatout.com/micropets/us/

Note: Thanks babe!

Malaysian Culture

Something a colleague sent me today. Enjoy.

There once was a very good old barber in New York. One day a florist goes to him for a haircut. After the cut, he goes to pay the barber and the barber replies: "I am sorry. I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service."The Florist is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning when the barber goes to open his shop, there is a thank you card and a dozen roses waiting at his door.

A policeman goes for a haircut and he also goes to pay the barber after the cut. But the barber replies: "I am sorry. I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service." The cop is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning the barber goes to open his shop, there is a thank you card and a dozen donuts waiting at his door.

A Malaysian software engineer goes for a haircut and he also goes to pay the barber after the cut. But the barber replies: "I am sorry. I cannot accept money from you. I am doing community service." The Malaysian software engineer is happy and leaves. The next morning when the barber goes to open his shop, guess what he finds there...

Can you guess?

Do you know the answer yet?

Come on, think like a Malaysian....

..... a dozen Malaysians waiting for a free haircut!

Bagan Lalang Beach

Here's coupla pics we took from our Bagan Lalang trip.

Amazing view

Balls of sands made by thousands of tiny crabs. Quite disgusting really, I've been here once in the night, the whole beach was literally swarmed by these tiny creatures, and we're walking with our naked feet on them..

Me and my babe.

Photographed by Steph. We were driving home from Bagan Lalang, when we made a turn in a junction towards KLIA and was greeted by this lovely view of the sunset. She is amazing isn't she..?'

Holiday ended so fast?

Cant believe one wk of holiday pass by just like that... what hv I achieved?? Nothing.. Had made some plans:

  1. Go camping and have a bbq at the campsite.
  2. Play tennis & badminton.
  3. Do some work?

Let see what I actually did during the week...

  1. Watched 1 chinese movie (Andy Lau's latest), 1 animation (Corpse's Bride) and 3 dvds (Jap animation, Thai horror flick & Amityville).
  2. Had a small BBQ.
  3. Ventured to Bagan Lalang beach to witness the sun sets.
  4. Cleaned my room (although now the table is in a mess again).
  5. Do my mandarin lesson homework & revise.
  6. Sleep, sleep and more sleep.

Hahahaha... what a big difference. From an active plans it turns out to be a lazy week... oh well, at least I can say I rested.... but of course its not enuf.

Anyway, I also found some nice pics which I would like to share with everyone. Here goes....
